Armpit hair
Is it just me, or does anyone recall seeing armpit hair on any of the male competitors at the Olympics?
Sports like swimming, diving, canoeing, gymnastics, volleyball.

I just thought of this today while watching the swimming.

Just curious.

1. Swimmers tend to shave EVERYTHING. . .
Supposedly shaves a few thousandths of a second off their times, etc. I know cyclists do the same. Can't say for everyone else.

..which I think is HOT.

But must of the gym guys look like they trim their pit hair.

Not that I pay ATTENTION to things like that on men.

6. Yep - used to be a swimmer and we'd shave before the big meets.
You have to let the hair "build-up" before then so you notice the difference. I'm glad that the guys seem to have stopped shaving their heads.

A lot of it's pretty psychological - some of us used to swim in practice with 2 swimsuits on so we'd feel lighter when we only wore one. I had all kinds of routines I had to go through and so did a lot of my teammates.

7. I haven't watched much of the Olympics this year,
but I did see armpit hair on one of the USA Men's Gymnasts (one of the twins, I think). It did initially take me by surprise, but I then felt silly for questioning it.

8. This guy would have a lot of shaving to do if he wanted to be
in the olympics.
