I've been thinking of an idea for a TV show.

I've been thinking about this alot lately.
Just all the shit that happend in a small town as a reporter. I mean, you've read the posts on all the wierd shit that happend to me.
So, I was thinking it would be about an uptight city guy in a small town as a reporter. It's gotta be somewhere cold, then I can use Hawian music all through it.
No laugh track, and a lot of tight shots. Throughout his workday the guy deals with a host of odd, but subtle characters. Kinda like guys on the Bob Newhart show.
I guess it could be describe as George Kastanza meets the Newhart supporting cast. It's be a lot of odd situation comedy. But with a serious side to, like a comedic drama.

1. It sounds like Northern Exposure

with a reporter instead of a doctor.

Not that I'm saying it's a bad idea -- it worked pretty well for Northern Exposure. It's kind of a universal theme, really -- it's a great theme for an episodic show.

You have way too many good stories to pass up - crazy spider guy, the drunken barber, etc.
