9. I only went 30 times
At a theater in the East Village. Unfortunately yuppies took over the area and chased most of the weirdos out. I stopped going after an announcement was made before the movie that we had to keep it down somewhat because the neighbors were complaining.

I hate fuckin' yuppies.

10. I probably went about 16 times
Trying to think back. Well, I remember my first time (LOL) - it was in 1982, and I went with my friends from California when they were in town. This was back when it was playing at the Neptune in the University District.

Then my friends and I went for about my first two years of high school, off and on.

Shock Treatment has always made me fall asleep, especially as a double feature after RHPS.

Wow. Usually people are either obsessed with it or think it's stupid, but I can't remember the last time I came across someone who'd never seen it before.

16. I went once and got into a fight with an asshole who threw rice on me
I threw a 40 oz. drink on him. I guess I should mention that it was the third night the movie was shown and very few in the theater knew about the developing tradition(s).

32. Off the top of my head....
JANET: I can't believe that an hour ago she was plain old Betty Monroe, and now she's Mrs. Ralph Hapschatt!
AUDIENCE: Hap-SHIT, will travel!

DR. SCOTT: Great heavens, that's a laser!
AUDIENCE: No, it's a dildo for My Three Sons!
(The laser, you see, was three-pronged.)

CHARLES GRAY: What diabolical plan had seized Frank's crazed imagination?
AUDIENCE: The same one that seized your fuckin' neck!

During the swimming-pool orgy:
AUDIENCE: New from General Mills, it's Queerio's!

NARRATOR: And crawling on the planet's face....
AUDIENCE: What are Republicans?
NARRATOR: Some insects....
AUDIENCE: Why's the phone bill so high?
NARRATOR: ...called the human race.
AUDIENCE: Where's your neck?
NARRATOR: Lost in time....
AUDIENCE: What's your favorite TV show?
NARRATOR: ...lost in space....
AUDIENCE: This movie lacks taste....
NARRATOR: ...and meaning.

24. no clue....
but I was involved with at least 8 different "casts" in 4 different towns, and averaged more than two shows a weekend for more than a decade.

Every so often, I still go see it in the theater.

I had a habit of playing Eddie, Dr. Scott, and sometimes, if things got desperate, Riff-Raff. I also had a habit of...ummm..."interacting" with whomever was playing Columbia, along with whomever else was demonstrably female and willing. Personal best: "Interaction" with three different women (all of whom I had never met before the show started) during the course of a single show, while playing two minor characters, followed with "interaction" with that evening's Columbia at the cast party. I'm often amazed that I didn't contract something lethal.

I'm SO glad those days are over....and I married one of my Columbias.

29. Lets see
I saw it twice a week from the age of 12 till 17. Then I saw it about 1000 times more on video. And I'm not exaggerating.

I've also seen Attack of the Killer Tomatoes at least 500 times. It was back in the days that not many tapes were out there, so for a year and a half I'd come home with Fred's and get high and watch Attack and a a bootleg of Rocky.

35. I could never get into it on video.
For me, it just wasn't ROCKY HORROR without the audience insanity in a nice, big theater. Besides, there were no ushers to sweep the rice up off my living-room floor! :P

31. Here's what you all should find funny
My mom finds Tim Curry to be a HOT man. Yet she only gets turned on by him when he's dressed as Frank. She used to drive me and a group of other teens to a Ohio theater where she's fall asleep until Tim came on screen. It was weird. She would just sleep until he was on and the wake up all of a sudden.
