And you thought you had a bad day

And you thought you had a bad day: Somewhere in the back streets of Saginaw, Mich., there lived a young raccoon. One day it jumped in a Dumpster to find food and couldn't get out. A garbage truck then emptied the bin into its compactor. The coon, perhaps sensing hydraulic danger, leapt off the moving truck, only to smash through the back windshield of a parked car. A city employee finally pulled the poor animal out of the sedan and let him scamper away, apparently unharmed.

1. Poor raccoon!
One of the least understood animals, IMHO. Human encroachment has really made their lives difficult.
