Dear Ms. Malkin,
I watched in utter amazement tonight as you attmpted, what is now a very tired and overused right wing tactic. Don't say that Kerry injured himself, just say that you heard someone say it. The very fact that when you were asked point blank if you believed John Kerry self inflicted his wounds, you would not answer, but instead tried to sway the answer to there are several people who say so. This insulates you from any legal action by Senator Kerry, but manages to get the Bush Administration and the right wing's talking points out there. How very, very clever. How very, very tired.
I find it quite amazing that the leader of an administration that defended the Gulf of Mexico against the immenent threat of a Viet Cong invasion, when able to, and when not campaigning for one of his fathers friends, doesn't come right out and tell all of the talking heads of the right, yourself included to stop questioning John Kerry's service, and to disapprove of the SwiftBoatVetsForTruth smear campaign. If for nothing else than it will leave the door wide open for questions reguarding Armed Forces service leading in the other direction, directly to the Whitehouse. This is something I am sure that neither President Bush, his administration, or Karl Rove wants.
In closing please note that Chris Matthews did an excellent job of showing the American public what a complete fool you made of yourself. It's sad when one can't even stand by the rumors they are spreading, and need to pass it off as things others have said.
