28. Anything from "The Donut Hole" in Beverly Massachusetts...
...but, since I haven't lived there in years, The Donut Hole might be a parking lot by now.

Also in Massachusetts was a brand of donuts called Cushmans...they were plain cake donuts that were the size of a big glazed donut. You could really taste cinnamon, nutmeg and vanilla, and with a cup of coffee...oh man. We used to get a dozen of them in a navy blue box that looked like a shoe box with a little window on the top.

ANY food...ALL food, I don't care what it is, but especially donuts, pizza and seafood...is better on the EAST coast. I like California for many reasons, but the food ain't one of 'em...Beverly was the best for pizza and donuts, Ipswich and Essex for the seafood.

41. Chocolate-iced, cream-filled ones.
Not the custard-filled ones, mind, but the cream-filled ones.

I also like a simple glazed doughnut.

By the way, after having visited Boston, I came away thinking that the stupidest question a visitor could ask in that city is, "Is there somewhere around here I can buy coffee and doughnuts?" I have never seen so many doughnut places in my life.
