Sealab 2021 Fans: Bush = Captain Murphy

For the non-Sealab fans, Captain Murphy is the arrogant, blowhard leader of Sealab who constantly makes mistakes and endangers his crew. He's also very anti-intellectual as seen in his numerous encounters with Dr. Quinn, a scientist who tries, in vain, to give the Captain the right advice.

There was one episode where Captain Murphy forced his crew to look for treasure in a sunken WWII battleship. I couldn't help but see the parallels to the Iraq war.

Captain Murphy is certifably insane, he can't be held accountable for his actions.

And he likes pudding! How can he be bad if he likes pudding? :)

2. in the bizarro episode

you have to see it to really understand what im talking about, but bizarro quinn was allergic to peanuts. when they finally leave, murphy laughs crazily saying "i gave turtleface a bag of peanuts during the movie!"
