6. Nonono....those are LICE.
I'd probably eat them too for the protein, but I hope I don't stranded on desert island and have body lice too.

10. Well, I'd kill them both immediately
so they wouldn't lose any of that lovely juicy meat. I would then cut the meat in strips and dry it in the sun since I would be unable to build a fire (due to it being a desert island). Of course, they wouldn't last long and if it was really a desert, I'd have no fresh water to drink so I'd be toast anyway but at least I'd have a little something to munch on for a bit.

And yes, I love animals but survival is survival.

12. Uh, err - a "desert island" is not a desert. It refers to a "deserted"
island. But I am sure you knew that and were just baiting me, right?

14. Actually no, I didn't
Desert and deserted are two different things but okay, I'll go by those parameters. I'd still kill 'em off right away since it makes no sense to have to share limited resources, no matter how cute your company, but I'd feel better with some water and vegetation. Perhaps a salad on the side.......

15. Well, I actually meant "desert," not "deserted."
But you're right, the conspicuous absence of fresh water could prove problematic. So we can go with a deserted island. That works better.

11. I am not saying I would NEVER eat a puppy or a kitten - but NO WAY
would I eat THAT puppy or THAT kitten. Therin lies the problem, doesn't it? Moral: Don't ever get in a situation where you are stranded on a desert island with a cute puppy and a cute kitten. Make sure at least one of them is not cute.

18. I'd eat the puppy and put the cat to work
Cats love to catch little varmits like birds, mice, snakes and other edible goodies

Puppies know how to drool - no use for them. But since they are usually bigger than the kitties then I'd get more meat off of him

23. locked
this is clearly intended to inflame the passions of DUers and in turn encourage them to send we Lounge mods dozens of alerts calling for your exile to a desert island without the benefit of a bagged lunch, potable water, or toilet paper not to mention furry friends.

Thanks for understanding,
