Just saw "Open Water"

I have a date to go see that Sunday with the same friend who suggested that monumental piece of shit "Mystic River."

Oh well, I'd rather go see "Control Room," but it's her call this time.

2. I actually kind of liked

Mystic River. Not the greatest but not terrible. At least you have good taste in TV shows!! j/k. Maybe you'll have a better opinion of it.

4. Save your money

I was extremely disappointed in "Open Water", as were most of the posters on IMDB.

It really isn't that scary, and the ending is an anti-climax (to me anyway).

6. its one of those movies

that you appreciate, but don't really love.

You admire the ability of someone to make a movie that had genuine thrills and chills for only $30,000. But as for an actual movie, it was kinda spotty.

I liked the ending however, although I heard a lot of people say when they were walking out that it was one of the worse movies they ever saw.

Personally, I like unconventional endings, and if you're looking for just about the most UN-Hollywood type of ending imaginable, go see this film.
