in the film of 'the wall' that's played when the dictator takes the podium? it's got that really distinctive guitar bit. i can't think of the name of it right now (girfriend and i were talking about it-we've each only seen the film once)

we're not huge followers of the band, so forgive our ignorance, but this title has been eluding us in conversation for about 10 minutes

I love that song, the original version is better than the movie version however. It's less angry, instead it's like a sublime freefall into the horrible pleasure of hate.

i want wish you were here for 'shine on you crazy diamond" (i do love syd barrett, so i appreciate the sentiment of this song)

so we're thinking of compromising if her song is on the 'echoes' best of cd, then we'll get it
