Now you MADE me stop and think about it, and now I realize the way I do it is weird.
If I'm putting on running (OK, walking, for me) shoes it's sock, shoe; sock, shoe.
If I'm putting on 'street' shoes, usually loafers, and IF I'm wearing socks (Dec. Jan. Feb.), it's sock, sock; shoe, shoe.
Now WHY is that?
