My girl is watching Queer Eye...
...no TV for the next hour.

..at least it's not the Trading Spaces marathon again where I didn't get to watch anything all day.... :o

Maybe it's just me, but these makeover shows like Trading Spaces and Queer Eye just bore the crap out of me...

.. although the one thing I saw yesterday where the dude liked country music alot and was an amateur musician, they set up a recording studio in his garage and Leann Rhymaes (the guy's idol) was there for the unveiling and jammed with them..I almost jerked a tear on that one.. they did a KICK ASS job on that house... the daughter's bed was a skateboard ramp...

..but I digress...I guess I could go in the bedroom and watch something when Jenn is monoplozing the TV with her homosexual boyfriends.. :o

Heyo

3. Most women say "homosexual boyfriend's" are the best kind
because we aren't trying to get anything from them. :-)

7. Sometimes, girls just wanna have fun!
And sometimes there is nothing as fun as a no-threat all-out-honesty drinking and gabbing session! AND, we are talking about you straight guys! :P

5. It's true
I love my gay friends. You get to hang out with guys who LIKE shopping and going to the salon! It's terrific. :P

Seriously, my homosexual boyfriends (is that a legit term???) are some of the best, most loyal friends I've ever had. When I went through a painful divorce many years ago, most of my friends didn't know what to do with me. They sort of melted away and didn't have much to do with me. It was my gay friends who called me every day, took me out on the weekends when I didn't want to go anywhere, and kept my spirits up. I owe them a serious debt of gratitude and will love them all until the day I die.

Don't mess with my homo homies.

:dem:

11. LOL
I'm skinny but I'm an awkward nerd girl and I totally get what you mean. I didn't go to my own prom (long story), but I was a beard for several gay friends at their proms and those were some of the best times I had.

Fag Hags unite! :D

8. Expect to go shopping tomorrow.
You'll have to draw the line at wearing a scarf as a belt, though.

13. well, I am "queer" and don't care for the show anymore
It was novel for a few episodes but I came to realize I need as much help as the straight guys did/do on the show.

14. Yeah, they do a lot of good...
... for the people on the show... the outcome is usually a big improvement.

(though, I still question that one guy's decision to wear his belt without using the loops, but then agaion that was at the end of the show when he was on his own)

I just get real bored with the Trading Spaces/Queer Eye/Extreme Makeover style "miracle transformation" shows....my girl loves 'em. I don't even like Monster House that much, but that one guy's outer space house turned out to be the *shizznit*....

I more dig the stuff like American Shopper, Monster Garage.. but mostly documentaries about history or space..

(I'm a guy that reads physics books for fun, though, so I imagine that I register moderately on the geek-meter)

Heyo

15. You'd dig "Pimp Your Ride"
They take some poor deserving person's old junker car and totally make it over. (If you ask me, all that customizing money might be better spent on a new Toyota or Honda.)
