I thought he always presented himself as a moderate republican. Of course that's an extinct species.

EDIT: OOOPS. Somehow I read that as Tom Selleck. Don't know how.

I always figured Arnold as a Dem.

He's in love with his alma mater, U. of Iowa, which is in Iowa city, which is pretty much the liberal island of Iowa.

I always thought there was more to the guy - that he was smarter and more talented - than he was given credit for.

6. Never cared much for the roles he played
but in interviews I've seen with him, he seemed quite intelligent and thoughtful.
