But my Washington Huskies don't look like they're going to do well.

But my home state team, the UConn Huskies, playing in their first full Big East schedule shouldn't be too bad. I think they could win 6 or 7 games.

5. Wrong, the season starts Sept.6 -- Miami hosting FSU

I'll be at the Orange Bowl, a special Monday night shindig as my 'Canes try to pin 6 straight series losses on FSU in the ACC opener.

Frank Gore has somehow made a rapid recovery from a second devastating knee injury and is set to start, running more confidently than any time since his freshman year. I'm doing my best to forget our quarterback, and all his games with more turnovers than offensive touchdowns.
