Edited on Sun Aug-22-04 10:39 PM by Mr. Blonde
I was on the losing end of a discussion with the cops last night and am curious what I will have to pay or do because of some apparent vandalism charges.
(If your interested I maintain my innocence)

1. Damages, Court Costs, maybe some Community Service. |
|
Like cleaning up graffiti, washing police cars, something like that.

2. So there probably won't be some huge fine? |
|
And is it a good sign that I wasn't given a ticket or anything last night?

3. If you didn't receive a summons to appear.......... |
|
you might be off the hook already. But, if the damage was done to private property the police might just be waiting to hear from the property owner to see if they want to prosecute. If he does tell them he wants to prosecute, maybe you can work something out with the complainant before your court date so that he might drop the charges and save yourself a lot of grief.
