I went to the Mohichan Blues Fest yesterday near Ashland OH

I wore a Kerry / Edwards button and carried a pocketful besides.
I handed one out to each person that commented, including venders concert volunteers, and even the guy selling band shirts. They wore them throughout the evening.

Eight or nine bands played ending the night with Joe Bonnamasso. I'd seen him before and new he was gonna be blazin' on guitar.

The band that played before him was a much anticipated surprise though. I'd heard of Anthony Gomes before, and have had his disc for most of a year, but I had NO idea what a showman he is. While the CD, "Unity" is outstanding, there was no compare to his live performance.

If the opportunity arises, by all means see this young Canadian. I haven't seen such a guitar spectacle since the advent of Jonny Lang. Thank you Toronto.

2. I saw Gomes at the Springing the Blues Fest at Jax Beach in Fla

a couple of years ago and he blew me away then. I bought the two CD's he was selling and love them. He is fantastic live. See him if you get the chance.
