What things will ALWAYS make you laugh no matter how many times...
...you hear, see, or say them?

My favorite example is telling my wife she has beautiful eyes when she's wearing sunglasses.

Don't ask me why, but I think that's friggin hilarious!

PS. Toilet humor is always funny to me as well...

Bugs: Would you like to shoot me now or wait 'til you get home?

Daffy: Shoot him now! Shoot him now!

Bugs: You keep outta this! He doesn't have to shoot you now!

Daffy: He does so have to shoot me now! (to Elmer) I demand that you shoot me now! (Elmer shoots Daffy.)

Daffy: (to Bugs) Let's run through that again.

Bugs: Okay! (deadpan) Would you like to shoot me now, or wait 'till you get home?

Daffy: (deadpan) Shoot him now, shoot him now.

Bugs: (deadpan) You keep out of this. He doesn't have to shoot you now.

Daffy: A-HA! That's it! Hold it right there! (to the audience) Pronoun trouble. (to Bugs) It's not "he doesn't have to shoot you now," it's "he doesn't have to shoot me now." And I say he does have to shoot me now! (to Elmer) So shoot me now! (Elmer shoots Daffy.)

But some of his piano pieces were sublime.

I mean, the original was what, 1980? It's not like they were updating a silent film or some such, it's still almost-sorta-contemporary. Especially with the nation-building and whatnot. ;)

51. My sister farting....
Edited on Mon Aug-23-04 12:46 PM by Hell Hath No Fury
I come from a mixed family of women: those who ripped farts/belches as loudly as possible, and those who hated that and became silent for it.

My older sister and I are of the former type.

My sister was recooperating from a full hysterectomy and I was taking care of her. We were kneeling in the garage looking through some boxes when my sister sneezed and let loose with the biggest, most ripping fart I have ever heard. That was funny, but what was funnier was the look of horror/surprise on her face that something like that would come out of her.

We were convulsed with laughter for a good 15 minutes straight, then had laughing jags about it for days afterwards, which was really hard on her having just had abdominal surgery. Her husband failed to see the humor in it (which is probably why their marriage is on the rocks).

A year later I still laugh like mad about it. :)
