How do I import a Journal Entry in Quickbooks?

Anyone out there who can tell me how to label my top row and each cell across in Excel? I think I only need TRNS, TRNSID, DATE, NAME, ACCNT, AMOUNT but I don't know if what the labels should be in column one or row one. Thanks.

1. You may want to post at the Quickbooks forums

I've used QB since 1997 and importing can be one of the diciest of procedures. Often I've found it better to manually input rather than try to do an import.

2. I'm trying to duplicate what you did,but I find it easier to print/import

J/Es from one of the financials it impacts, i.e. from the P&L: transaction detail by account. :shrug:
