Al Michaels of ABC Sports
Cheney was at the Chefs-Rams game tonight. Michaels spent a good five minutes gushing over Dick.

Later in the game he came up with a random line about Sandy Berger when they cut to a shot of Rams playbooks lying on the sideline.

"It's a good thing Sandy Berger isn't here" he quipped. For those that don't know, Michaels is a Rethug.

2. This was an outrage
First, Michaels gushes over Snarling Dick eating fried chicken. Then they show footage of Bush visiting Chiefs camp and Fellating him. Michaels also showed a Rasmussen poll showing Bush beating Kerry in Missouri. Then the smarmy comment about Berger. I e-mailed ABC sports. Anyone who wants to escape from politics to watch a football game should be outraged.

3. its a good thing George Will wasn't there,
he would have stolen the rams playbook and given it to the Chiefs.

6. I just sent a scorcher of an e-mail to Disney/ESPN/ABC...
I saw Michaels fawning over Dick "Halliburton" Cheney, and it made me want to puke.

None of this right-wing uber-shit has any place being flogged around during a sporting contest.

To hell with them all.

8. Whadya expect from ABC?
They were going to hire Limpballs to be Al's aidekick, but faced a boycott, so they hired Dennis Miller instead :wtf:

Sports is overrun with wing nuts, and as the election gets nearer, they let more and more bush campaign ads slip into their work. Michaels, Patrick, Dibble, Salisbury, Davis, and basically everyone at ESPN except for Tony K and Wilbon, are all pukes, and it is getting hard to listen to them for more than a few minutes at a time without hearing a free ad for *.

Listen to AAR, it's better for you.

9. Al Michaels Is An Obnoxious Piece Of Crap
I'm glad he's a Repuke. That gives me yet another reason to hate him.

I will never forgive Michaels for his behavior during a 2001 MNF game between the Cowboys and Redskins. Yeah, both teams were winless and the game wasn't exactly a classic, but the game still meant alot to me. And I'm sure that it meant alot to Redskins fans also.

Al Michaels sat there for that whole game and acted like he did not want to do the broadcast and couldn't wait until the next week's Eagles/Giants game. He treated the Cowboys/Redskins game as if it was a damn joke. It was the most disrespectful sports broadcast I have ever listened to.

12. if you think your pissed off now.......
You missed Al's rendition of how Missouri has always picked the winner of the presidency for the past 50 some odd years. Then he goes to a split screen with *'s face and Kerrys face and showing the polls with Bush leading 50% to 44%. Then they cut to the shrub throwing the football at a KC practice, with Al commenting "it was a perfect spiral." If I didn't love football so much I wouldn't watch anymore. I just can't give up sports. I gave up all tv and cable news, but don't ask me to give up the sports. I can't do it. Oh well I still love Madden. Don't totally ruin my night and tell me he is a republiCON too.

14. I've always hated him anyway...
I didn't know this but it really doesn't surprise me. He's exactly the kind of smug jerk they breed.

No wonder he and Cosell hated each other so much.

15. And he's a blow dried hack announcer
One of these blow dried national sports announcers who seem to cover all sports, yet they really have very little expertise in any sport at all. I remember him when ABC did baseball and he was so ignorant about baseball that I turned off the sound.
