What's your favorite non-Kurosawa Samurai Movie?
For me its any of the Miyamoto Musashi films (Samurai I, II & III)

1. The Babycart Series.
All 6 of them are great, but 2 and 5 are the stand outs for me.

Also Zatoichi.

Toshiro Mifune plays a samurai looking for a stolen sword in the Old West. Charles Bronson is a gunslinger riding with him.

Kind of like Kung Fu (the series), but with a samurai, and better actors.
