Today is my husband & my 13 anniversary.

I cannot believe we have known each other for over 23 years & been together for almost 18 years. He is still my best friend & the person I most want to be with.

My hubby has to work tonight so we went out last night to celebrate.
Too much wine & my head is pounding. I hate having to work with a hangover.

That is a great that you have known each other for so long and still want to be together. Question, do you two go on occasional separate weekends with jsut your friends? My wife and I do that once or twice a year but also go away together far more often.

3. We are not often apart for a whole weekend,

but he gets together with just the guys every other weekend for the day & I try to go out with the "girls" at least once or twice a month. It seems like we want to do the sames thing & go the same places so we do them together.

I was thinking about that issue this morning. I can not wrap my little brain around the idea that anyone could believe that two committed adults who just happen to be the same sex is destructive to marriage, but rush(on his 3rd divorce), newt(severed wife with divorce papers while in the hospital with cancer after cheating on her), the gropinator(sexual predator), etc are good for marriage.
