Fenris Wheel Spins Out Of Control

TEXAS -- In a strange twist on an already bizarre day, the oft-maligned Fenris Wheel finally met a challenge it couldn't best.

The wheel, which is known worldwide and has been ridden by thousands was carrying a Houston man, James Lardner; who, witnesses said, "snapped" upon hearing "Late Night, Maudlin Street" for the third time of the evening.

Lardner allegedly leaped from his perch on the wheel and ran to the control booth, where he beat and urinated upon the control panel, causing the wheel to violently lurch and begin rotating at an incredibly rapid rate, throwing off several riders and sickening many more.

Lardner is being held on $500 bond. Fenris is reported shaken, but unharmed.
