Read part of 'Unfit for Command' last night
It was an obvious hatchet job. Especcially obvious was the story on page 62-63, that has Kerry being a 'coward'. It says that Kerry, out of nowhere, just decided to open fire on a civilian village, ordered all the animals shot and then, by himself, torched the village. It was evidence of Kerry's 'war crimes'.
It was so obviously a hit piece, so low and repugnant. One witness backs up the story, but I cannot remember his name.
This is EXACTLY what David Brock talked about in 'Blinded by The Right'.

5. That's not fair! That's not fair!
You don't want Kerry's record to be attacked, and then you turn around and trash the President, WHO SERVED HONORABLY, ALTHOUGH YOU SHOULDN'T TRY TO SUBSTANTIATE THAT BY LOOKING FOR PEOPLE WHO "SERVED" WITH HIM NOR SHOULD YOU LOOK AT HIS RECORDS WHICH MAY OR MAY NOT HAVE BEEN DESTROYED IN A FIRE!

/end sarcasm

with him in Alabama or Arkansas or wherever it was. Maybe that was debunked and I didn't hear about it...

no shit. That is what I heard. The only person who remembers GWB showing up for duty is the head of the local GOP apparatus

2. Hold it I thought he lied about the war crimes of others
or was it that he just wasn't supposed to report on what he had been told at the Winter Soldier hearings?

7. It is beyond that now
He is now a coward, a war criminal, a liar, a traitor who planned to use his tour of duty as a springboard for a presidential run thirty years later.

10. Interesting that you noticed that too
because O'Neill earlier writes that Kerry lied about witnessing anything that resembled atrocities, he then goes on to credit Kerry with war crimes and 'genghis khan' tactics.

6. I wouldn't read that book if someone gave a copy to me
Although if they gave me a copy, I am low on toilet paper and litterbox liners. That would be a noble use for that book.

How many tree died for this book??

Clinton and Dowd have it sandwiched though
It is funny that Bill is still beating it. That must be a bitter slap to the GOP operatives who actually wrote it.

18. I heard on CNN Barnes and Noble sold out
and people were complaining because their were no copies left to restock. I wonder if the book will make it to number 1. I am surprised there isn't a bulk order dagger next to it's listing on the bestseller list..

23. They under printed the first run
but then realize that it has only officially (according to the NYT) been out one week so the dagger may appear OR the bulk buy might have created this shortage. There are a lot of people who are going to buy it but they aren't all the red Kool-Aid drinkers some prefer the blue kind (us).

16. Also revealed in "Unfit for Command"

  • John Kerry had illicit affairs with North Vietnamese Box Turtles
  • John Kerry flipped flop on the issue of whether Miller Lite 'Tasted Great' or was "Less Filling'
  • It was actually John Kerry that caused Max Clelands injuries. It was part of the Kerry-Cleland plan to be war heros and garner sympathy for their injuries
  • John Kerry left Vietnam early in order to join the Texas Swift Boat National Guard and protect Texans from the dangerous, but illusive North Vietnamese infiltrating throughout that state.

SHOCKING I TELL YAS!!!

24. No, Hillary is going to frame John Edwards
for causing cerebral palsy in newborns so he could make profits at the malpractice trials, so he drops out. Then she is going to have the VP slot, but in 2 years she will have Kerry killed in an Arkansas style triangular crossfire and *wham* 10 years of Clinton rule, unchallenged.
