Somebody with waaaaaaay to much time on their hands built a church out of lego (it started out as a house), much to the entertainment of various cats, one of whom died just before completion, so the site is dedicated to the cat.

Nice job, but why of all things would you build a CHURCH? Why not a Mosque or The Temple of Zeus or an Old World Temple or something with aesthetic value?

75000 pcs is still relatively small compared to the things Lego's modelers build for exhibitions and their Legoland theme parks. Things like the Sydney Opera House, a large-sized Einstein head, the Empire State Building, The Capitol Building, etc.
