5. The horror.....the horror
I too have seen the giant boxes known as the Wal Mart. Soul-eating creations which defy 3000 years of culture and architecture with their flat roofs (which leak ....hello??). Dis-embodied smiling faces which beam from atop stacks of cheap plastic goods from China. You can almost hear the jobs and local businesses being crushed beneath the stadium-sized concrete floor. Beware the speeding fork lifts as they bring yet another pallet of Tabasco sauce in 2 gallon containers.

We can live without them.

6. I hate Wal Mart
the lower prices are not worth the hassle, hike through a parking lot, too narrow aisles to get the damned cart through, crap falling from top shelves and get this, do not carry a plain white blanket for your bed! Buy an item, decide you want another? Forget it, they're gone and "don't know if they'll get any more". And lastly, no one to help you find something - if you do locate someone to ask, they'll lead you on a wild goose chase knowing full well that they haven't a clue as to where the item can be found bur rather than ask another employee, they'll send you all over the back 40.

Oh, and another thing, don't take their credit cards - 21% interest on them.

when the newly transplanted into our country are whining about the "high" prices in Wal Mart.

Yikes!!!

19. Sad Wal-Mart reality here
Where I live, along one road and within (literally) 6 miles of one another, we have 3, count 'em, 3 Wal Marts. 2 regular, and one Wal-Martzilla.

25. WalMartzilla
Thanks!

It's one of those Wal Marts that has the usual cheap plastic crap AND a grocery store combined. Super Wal Mart is the correct term, I think. They're gargantuan! I think that's all they're building, now.
