My foot has been killing me the last week and a half....

I'm afraid I may have fractured the top part of my foot somehow. Maybe a stress fracture? No idea...but it hurts sooo much every time I take a step forward with the other food and I have to bend my toes. Anyone have any idea what it could be?

Try ibuprofen in large doses. If it works, it's probably gout.

was laid up forever with something that should have been simple because I didn't take care of it right away.

7. Okay this is weird I have EXACTLY the same thing right now

Started hurting a bit on Saturday, still went for a short run.

Sunday hurt more, still ran a mile.

Monday, almost fell to the floor in pain when I got up in the morning.

Mine runs along the top of my right foot from the base of the big toe to the ankle.

A nurse here at work told me it was probably a pulled/strained tendon.

Treatment-Aleve and ICE lots of ice (I put it in a plastic bag) I have a bag of ice on my foot as we speak. I did it until I went to sleep last night and the difference was remarkable.

But you should go see a doctor yours could be different.

10. I'm thinking it stems from all the walking I do in my flipflops...

But it's SOOO HOT here right now...wearing real shoes sucks.
I could go to the nurse. It's free except we'd have to pay if I needed Xrays.

she said if it continues (even with treatment) for a week I should go see a doctor a shot may be required. Since you have had this condition for OVER a week you might want to do that. If that rubberband snaps you are in for a world of hurt (and expense).
