What's up with Bush getting a plug on Monday Night Football?
Did any of you notice the plug John Madden and Al Michaels gave the Moron-in-Chief during the third quater of last night's exhibition game between Kansas City and St. Louis last night?

At least I think it was the third quarter, but regardless of when it was on it was a blantant pro-Bush political message!

My buddy and I were so pissed.

Those two blowhards are probably worried they'll lose they're Bush-tax cuts if Kerry's elected.

1. Michaels is a Repuke
I guess Madden is too. BTW, if you think that was bad, ABC is going to have a halftime special from the convention during Monday's MNF game. That's the night the networks aren't supposed to provide any coverage. Remember, they only gave the Dems three nights.

3. I can turn off the halftime and watch something else.
And I always do so anyway.

And the boys in the bars aren't going to pay any attention, either.

But, you're so correct. It ain't right.

4. He was in town campaigning
for a neocon here in Kansas running against our Dem congressman. I was supposed to be at the game last night, but couldn't make it. Caught Dickey-boy on tv. :puke:

5. Aww, it was standard pro-Bush bs
"Dubya's a friend of Dick Vermiel." A big NFL fan. Yaddy-yaddy-yadda. And historically the state of Missouri's voted for the eventual presidental winner the last umpity-ump years. Dubya leads Kerrys in Missouri polls 50% to 46% or some such garbage like that.

All total Limbaugh!

My buddy and I were so pissed at seeing this crap we vented by futilely yelling at the television.

Yeah, we were hopin' Unca Dick would have a heart attack while he was slurpin' down his Coke!

6. Michaels is a vicious little repug whore.
He has RUINED Monday Night Football for me. It's not enough that he's a shill for Bush, but for the first year or two after 2000, he delighted in dropping the occasional Al Gore insults. What an ass.
