12. My significant other works in Lizard Lick.
We tried to get a post office box their but they don't have a post office. We REALLY wanted a Lizard Lick address!

19. Somewhere west of Charlotte.
I just know I drove through it once.

When I lived in Monroe (southeast of Charlotte), I used to see signs on the highway saying Unionville, 10 mi this way, and then after a while, Unionville, 10 mi that way, and I wondered if the town actually existed!

largest cities (2003 est.): Charlotte, 584,658; Raleigh, 316,802; Greensboro, 229,110; Durham, 198,376;

Winston-Salem, with 190,299 was #5

Winston-Salem, with 190,299 dropped to #5, it used to be ahead of Durham and believe it or not, Raleigh and Greensboro in the 80s and 90s were back and forth as 2nd largest city...
