The SVBT shit is lies thus it equals mud.

What has MoveOn ever lied about? Nothing as far as I know
so those ads are not throwing mud.

are mud throwing - just my opinion
meanwhile - I've thrown alot of mud at bush* and will continue to do so

However, the focus has become on which 527 group is worse or better than the others instead of the issues at hand -- hence "my 527 can beat up your 527"

pro-bushies* think SBVT are correct, we on the left think Moveon is correct

Kerry's strong point is the ISSUES, bush* has no issues to stand on, no accomplishments to back him up which is why his "approved" ads are also negative. As long as we fight about which 527 is better the less time we will have to get the message out about issues and the longer bush* has to AVOID discussing the issues

the repug convention is coming up - and yes we can expect a bounce in the polls for bush* -- with this squabble about 527's Kerry is losing ground. This means he will be further behind in the polls than he should be following the repug convention

bush then has a month or so before the debates to continue with his negative ads -- which may push Kerry even further behind. the debates are bush*'s weakness, but why give him an advantage of fair to good poll numbers?

our talking points and letters etc should be focused on the ISSUES and not which 527 is better than the other

4. Allow me...

The problem with the 'toon is that it is something a middle-of-road, fair & balanced local newspaper might run on the editorial page. Don't see how it helps the cause at all, and certainly doesn't live up to your screen name. Just kind of bland, unimaginative, wishy-washy, and not even funny.

I don't consider the above a "flame", just being honest in my response to your OP. It certainly is nothing personal.
