I wonder if it hurts to be a dog with so much love to give

24/7, and people who are only able to accept it from 1/2 to 1/4 to 1/8 of the time that the dog is there and wanting to give it.

Sometimes, we feel this same way, don't we?

I just had this thought, all of a sudden, that I have the spirit of a dog, at this time in my life...

Why isn't love just good all the time, why does it have to hurt if we don't use it??

Do puppies feel that same heartache, only multiplied, because their lives are so simple?

But, to answer your question, I don't think the heartache is the same... they love intensely, but selflessly... I don't think my dog was thinking 'poor me' while I was gone, but 'where is he?'...
