Number of registered users
The number seems to be going up fast these last few days. I wonder, is it the massive smear of the disgruntled vets and Nixonian dirty trickster that's bringing them in? Are they outraged, clear-thinking Americans, or rabid anything-a-Democrat-says-must-be-a-lie thugs?

2. Actually a heck of a lot of them seem to be
authentic and very happy to have discovered DU. Buzzflash linked to the Walt Starr story (I think? Do I have that right? Or was it a Pitt story? Tired...) and a lot of people found us that way.

Also I know of DUers who have really been spreading the word about DU to other progressive sites.

Just a small percentage of these seem to be freepers, so I am pleasantly surprised!
