I love the Neville Brothers. I need to replace my Yellow Moon CD, I loaned it out and never got it back.

I'll make it down to New Orleans to see them. Saw them once in San Diego at the Spreckles, it was wild !

5. Grew up listening to them
When I was a boy back in the early 70s, we used to sing, "hey hey hey, hey pocky way" everytime we played on the merry-go-round. I saw Charmaine at Jazz Fest this year - it was AWESOME! She sang, "what a wonderful world..." while a rainbow formed behind and above the stage.

6. you best believe it
An incredible live act too.

Back when I was a history teacher, I used "Sister Rosa" as an intro to studying the civil rights era. You better get that 'Yellow Moon' CD back!

10. HAIL yes!
Got to see them at The House Of Blues in New Orleans last year. Aaron wasn't on the bill, but he walked out onstage about halfway through and the joint went into orbit.

It was Nasty Good.

11. I even have Charles' solo CD and Neville Son Ivan's debut.
I love these guys, but haven't seen them live in years. Them opening for Ziggy Marley and the Melody Makers, circa 1989, was one of the best shows I ever went to, front row center.

Now I need to go home and get the CD with the spoken word thing about "squeaky clean America..."
