I obsessively ate all the oat parts first, then left the marshmallow surprises for later. :freak:

Now I eat Joe's Os from Trader Joe's.

10. eat Cap'n Crunch and you don't have to brush your teeth
afterwards - the abrasive Crunch Berries (good name for a band?) effectively (very effectively!) scour the gunk off your teeth.

Unfortunately I don't eat much cereal anymore. Oatmeal 5 days a week for me. It knocked my cholesterol down 20% to a safe level. I'm not taking chances now.

GOOD SHEPHERD (It was a granola you could get at health food stores)
RAISIN BRAN (plain and with nuts, etc.)
CREAM OF WHEAT (plain and flavored)
OATMEAL (plain and flavored)
SHREDDED WHEAT -- when we were kids, we often had it for a late Sunday dinner

Actually... my true favorites are Corn Flakes, Raisin Bran, Cheerios, Oatmeal (you didn't specify cold-cereal only) and Cream of wheat.

(I'm not a big fan of pre-sweetened cereals... but I do like just a teaspoonful of sugar in each bowlful.)

Yes, it's obscure--Post made them. Anyone remember? The actor Van Heflin was the spokesman for them. God, they were so delicious--slightly sweet, good oat taste; only drawback was rapid sogginess, but I never cared, they tasted so GOOD!!
