I've got my own reasons for not missing it. What are yours?

1. Apparently "Everybody Loves Raymond" is finally ending.
Edited on Wed Aug-25-04 09:36 PM by UdoKier
I ddon't miss Friends, and I never loved Raymond, so I won't miss him either.

I scarcely ever watched either.

I think Raymond's TV wife is an evil repuke beeyotch as is Kim Delaney.

3. Kim "DUI" Delaney
...courtesy of The Smoking Gun.

Hey, as booking photos go, this mug shot of actress Kim Delaney ain't half bad (it's certainly not in Yasmine Bleeth territory). The former "NYPD Blue" star was busted Saturday night (January 26) for allegedly driving drunk. Cops in Malibu, California popped Delaney after a motorist called 911 to report that a woman was driving erratically. According to police, the driver actually followed Delaney to her house, where cops later took the 40-year-old performer into custody. Delaney, who refused to take a blood-alcohol test, is scheduled for a March 27 court date.

Al: What are you watching Pumpkin?
Kelly: Friends, Daddy...
Al (Takes Controller away and sit on couch) Don't want any, don't need any, sure as hell don't want to watch em' on TV.

5. It was a badge of honor
shared by my wife and me that we never watched a single episode of Friends...ever.

6. When I first saw the previews for it
I got the idea it was a show about yuppies. So I never watched any of it.

11. Good looking people in New York apartments they could never afford
There's more, but that was always the main irritant.

10. I miss Friends
it was a very well-written, well-acted show. Better than most.

12. I thought so too for a long time, but it's left an "aftertaste"...
...maybe it should have been a show that didn't try to tie up all of the loose ends.

Maybe it would have felt more genuine if, after all of the procrastination, it ended with it being "too late for Ross."

But yes, on a professional-technical-"craft" level it was head and shoulders above most of its competition.

:toast:
