Unless they've changed their policy - which was to scan ALL your e-mail to deliver you custom ads based on your correspondence.

You think your local ISP doesn't read your emails or can't do it? True, Google does deliver ads based on the body of text in your email but it's a bot. It's not a real person:)

11. Based on what you said, yes, it's true.

When I said "they" I certainly didn't mean Google employs people to scan everyone's e-mail. Even if a bot does it (and yes, I realize any ISP could do this), it's still an invasion of privacy, but that's the cost of their service. If you're OK with that, go with Gmail.
