UPDATED: 2:13 pm EDT August 25, 2004

A 9-year-old Minnesota girl found a five-legged frog with 23 toes near Stewartville, Minn., according to a report.

Three of the frog's legs appear to be normal, but the fourth has another leg as an offshoot, with three feet attached to it.

1. Nice
That's awesome. Even more of a reason to get guards for nuclear plants. Though you can't keep out frogs. Um...are there any nuclear facilities in MN anyways?

7. Deformed frogs a warning sign?
SUMMERVILLE, PEI - Scientists tells us frogs are a barometer of the health of our environment. And now a graduate student at UPEI is doing some research on Island frog populations.

Megan Osepchook is trying to determine the effects agriculture has on the development and growth of frogs here.

She has found deformities of all kinds in these frogs. Some have extra legs, or eyes, or even deformed feet.

But even more startling is the level of deformities in the frog population
