Ok If you could run away from your current life or existence
What would you do and where would you go? (end of summer fantasy)

1. I would dye my hair black, put on the fishnets and plaid mini-skirt and go follow NoFx around.

2. Europe. Spain. A train. Lots of real Sangria. etc.

and party with DU'ers then I would settle back and quietly be independently wealthy with a family compound including lots of pets.

I'd have to be independently wealthy to do this.
I'd move to Hawaii, buy a beach house, and just live on the beach. ACtually I'd split my time between the beach and my boat.
And basically just travel the world and then go home to Hawaii when I needed to rest.

Where I would fix as many of the state's problems as I could. Get those damn corporations out of government, give everyone lots of liberties and freedoms...and oh why not legalize the growth and use of God's own herb, marijuana? Fox News would call us a banana republic or some bullshit like that.

Then I would leave politics and have a hemp plantation in the mountains of West Penn. I'd sell the hemp for use in clothing and energy and whatnot. and smoke the weed! And I would have an awesome wife and two very respectful and well-behaved daughters, one of them would eventually be Governor, or even President!

pfft. you people and your plans to leave this fine country. phooey!

and I'm buzzed from a few beers so don't mind me, I'm just blabbering.

86. hi, and we're not a banana republic yet are we?
The only state that came close was Louisiana under Democrat Huey Long. The Democrats have done some really wacky things thoughout history.

77. A White, Sandy Beach
Where hurricanes never hit, and coconuts, bananas and pineapples are plentiful! A few dolphins dropping by for a visit would be nice, too.

79. Oh to escape my current life....
If it were that I had the funds I would run off to Europe to see the caves and cave paintings of our ancient ancestors. I'd also see the medieval castle ruins while I was there. For the winter I'd live in the deserts of Arizona, New Mexico, Nevada and/or Utah. I love the red-rock deserts and detest cold and snow.

If only...
