My Olympic complaint

The equestrian events were held in Markopoulo, outside Athens.

Could someone not have had the imagination and foresight to put some pool events, esp. synchronised swimming, in Markopoulo? We couldn't make this happen?

1. My complaint: No NBC softball coverage.

The most dominant team in the Olympics gets the shaft because they don't wear bikinis. Hrmph.

It's more a sport than synchronised diving, or ribbon dancing, or equestrian dressage.

That's another thing. If they're going to do equestrian, why not auto racing? We could have NASCAR and Formula 1 racing at the Olympics, right?

I heard the Brit team was awesome.

The Brit mixed doubles team lost to the Koreans in the finals, iirc.

Badminton kicks butt. It's my summer Olympics version of curling, the cool sport I like that I won't be able to see for another four years.

Remember back when ESPN actually showed this kind of stuff late at night? Now they just show the EXACT SAME SPORTSCENTER for 9 straight hours.
