At a LOCAL store.

OR

For $550
Same model, except it's factory refurbished. Via internet purchase. 30 day warranty. Claims Win2k is the OS.

Both have a 20% restock fee.

I could care less on the OS as I will be installing Linux. :9

I could use a laptop on Monday as my car is in for repairs and enhancements all day.

I could use a decent laptop (my old Pentium-266 is too slow these days, even with Linux. :cry: )

Of the two, though, I'd go refurb. But then again you could throw 700 down for a higher-end refurb. It's a multidimensional question not fit for a simple yes no. I know im a dick.
