Today's Customer Service Horror (or is that Terror?) Story
A guy came in yesterday to file a warranty claim on a window.

"What happened to the window?"
'My next-door neighbor tried to kill his brother and shot it out.'

Attempted murder is on the "exclusions" list of every window warranty out there.

The happy ending to this story: the Fayetteville Police Department has a Crime Victim's Compensation Fund. We called that office; they said to give the guy a window and send them the bill, and they'd even pay for us to put the window in for him.

1. I really think that attempted murder should always be on the
exclusion list. LOL

2. I'm glad it worked out well for you.
We had a different horror story. Our little company relies on cell phones, and I make sure that I pay the bill the same day we get it. Well, today the phones were shut off, even though I'd just gotten the bill the day before and had mailed in the check. Seems they decided that we'd used too many roaming minutes (boss went on vacation and took his phone)and decided they needed their money NOW instead of waiting for the due date printed on the bill. They didn't bother to tell us until after they had shut off the phones. They said they'd called the boss to tell him, but he hadn't answered. That didn't matter. When I called to find out what was going on, they said I could use a credit card and pay the amount. I said what about the check I mailed? They wouldn't say. In other words, we would have to pay the bill twice to keep service, even though we'd always paid on time and had paid well before time now. Every person I talked to about it sounded bored and like they didn't give a darn.

5. We had a similar incident
A woman came into our store to replace half of her china service. What on earth could have happened to all those dishes, you ask?

Well, she's the unpopular second wife, and apparently the housekeeper and the children conspired to destroy most of her dishes. We really didn't know what to say to her, but she struck me as a most unpleasant woman, to be honest.
