The real "Dream Team" is Gold !!!!!

Loren Jackson of Australia and her team did all they could. 10 points and 14 rebounds for Jackson.

But Cheryl Swoops, Lisa Leslie, Dawn Staley, etc captured their third gold this morning.

If you watched... they defended the 3pt line, actually stepped inside the line and made jump shots. The referees let them play (must not be the same ones as the mens tournament). Perhaps AI, LaBron and the group should be taking notes.

And once again, we got to see the "baby" of the group. Diana Taurasi of UConn getting her first medal.

1. They played a great game

and deserved the medal. I couldn't help admire the Aussie's team and the way they reacted to the loss. They were gracious and congratulated the US team, playful on the court afterwards, just thrilled to be at the Olympics.

5. They played two gutsy games in a row! Real champions can

handle pressure like that and come out on top! I'm very happy for them.

BTW, they still haven't shown the damn game here in Denver!!!!!!!!

I'm a huge WNBA fan and I am thrilled. These ladies are class acts all the way and I am so happy for them. They actually know B-ball is a TEAM sport!

Mr. Chovexani is gonna be eatin' crow today, lol. Ever since we found out it was the U.S. and Australia in the gold medal game the trash talk has been flying!
