Just saw the movie "Hero"

with Jet Li.

Very, very good! Some really beautiful cinematography, very cool story told a few different ways, and Jet Li is hot. Highly recommended. I give it Four Dookuses.

I've been curious about this: Is it dubbed or subtitled?

I hate dubbed films, but I seriously want to see this film.

which I prefer, but is almost a shame in this movie, because you just want to watch each scene fully. I wish I could understand Chinese.

I do wish I understood the language, as well, but I've gotten pretty darned good at reading subtitles while watching the film.

We're definitely going to see this one.

3. Yeah, it's a great movie...
can't wait to see it on the big screen. We rented it a couple of months ago from our local kick-ass video store, ahh.. the wonders of region free DVD players...

Very beautiful movie. Exquisite, really. Never saw anything quite like it before. Had a few echoes of Crouching Tiger, but had more depth, IMHO.
