1. Pointless....
Does anyone on this board listen to Jessica Simpson, Kid Rock, or Ted Nugent?

6. how about lynard skynard or alice cooper?
lynard skynard is playing at the GOP Convention this week.
Alice Cooper said anti-Bush rockers were guilty of "treason"

7. Yet another group of washed up rock stars...
Yes they may have been good in their days but that was over twenty years ago....I hardly think we can do anything to hurt their "record sales"...

9. The idea is to hold them accountable. They don't get any free passes

and record sales isn't the only thing we can fight them with.

Lynard Skynard probably plays a lot of lowscale venues: casinos, fairs, etc.

Alice Cooper has a syndicated radio show.

2. Voted yes.
If the repugs can slime the Dixie Chicks, we can sure as hell boycott worthless "musicians" like the Gatlin Brothers.

I hear ZZ Top supports dumbya, which upsets me, because I love their Texas R&R, but I'll stop buying their records if it's true.

Besides, we have the Boss on our side.

10. How exactly would I "boycott" something I would never buy anyway?
I've thought Ted Nugent sucked pretty much since I graduated Junior High School, and that was before Bush's daddy was in the White House (with his hand up Reagan's ass for the first 8 years)

As for Lynyrd Skynyrd, I've never cared for the "little brother and the tribute band" anyway, and I have a feeling that if all the other embarrassing shit that's been done in the Skynyrd name hasn't made Ronnie Van Zant spin in his grave, than this might be the straw that breaks the Free Bird's back. I can't say I know where Ronnie was at politically, but I don't think he'd be backing the Idiot Son of an Asshole.

12. Too funny...don't buy that Gracie Rosenberger CD you were planning to buy!
Edited on Sun Aug-29-04 01:10 AM by MrBenchley
There's already a de facto boycott of most of them, based not on politics but on total lack of interest by the listening public....

How many of your friends are listening to Donnie McClurkin now?

16. Some DJ put together a compilation of Britney's hits,
just to demonstrate that they all sound exactly alike. It was quite amusing.
