I don't think he really hunts much, mainly skeet shooting. Of course, when you're campaigning for Prez you can't sit in a tree for 6 hours waiting for a buck to come by.

I don't hunt myself but many who do are some of the most concerned people regarding environmentalism and conservation around. I know the killing of an animal is against the morals/values of some, but I refuse to look down on those who hunt responsibly. Personally I hope Kerry has make some inroads with the rank and file NRA members; those who haven't been brainwashed by the likes of Kayne Robinson.

Major Dick Winters the Commander of Easy Company, 506th Parachute Infantry, 101st Airborne Division (the unit documented in HBO's famed "Band of Brothers") Returned from the war and absolutely hated hunting. After all his combat in WW2 the man said "I went out on my farm, shot a duck, went over to collect it and almost broke into tears. What had this duck done to me!?" IMO, That puts hunting into perspective...

I think my grandpa, a Korean war vet secretly hates hunting too, he has all these weapons but never has the old man gone hunting. I think as does my dad, his son in law that he doesnt like it and just has the guns for show.
