Hello darkness, my old friend...
I've come to talk with you again, Because a vision softly creeping,
Left its seeds while I was sleeping, And the vision that was planted in my brain Still remains within the sound of silence.

3. And in the naked night I saw
Ten thousand people, maybe more
People talking without speaking
People hearing without listening
People writing songs that voices never share
And no one dare
Disturb the sound of silence

And the people bowed and prayed
to the neon god they made.......

6. I believe it
I ironically believe I first heard it and realize how much I liked it in the movie Old School. I am such a paradox, I love good war movies yet I abhor war, I curse like a sailor yet I dont like cursing metal I enjoy good classical sounding musics, heh its cool though, thanks for reminding me even if not purposely to redownload that song, its a song Ive enjoyed hearing in my dad's car.

9. tenement halls
I was a senior in high school when this came out. It's my all time favorite Simon and Garfunkel song. I think it had a great deal of meaning then (VIetnam era) and is especially relevant today.

10. I am just a poor boy though my story's seldom told.
"The Boxer" is one of my all-time favorites by any artist, along with "My Little Town".

Asking workman’s wages, I come looking for a job, but I get no offers.

15. I used to sing that tune when I was in Sackville NB
Walking home from the bar during a six week bendor. In which I was drunk everyday by
5:00. Such a good time could never be duplicated.
