1. 35 blocks man. They aren't circling, they're still coming. . .
They just said on Air America that people are still arriving. The original schedule said the march was supposed to be winding down around this time.

LOL.

This is beautiful.

Just saw a huge sign that said "George Bush Can Kiss My Black ASs" and I about had a kitten from laughing so hard.

That and the blow up doll with the Bush mask and the "corporate whore" sign.

I'm dyin' hear, this is fantastic!!!!!!

3. yup
The web cam is grainy enough to make it look like it just keeps going down the street.

I just saw a Che Guevarra flag...that'll go over well. I hope these guys aren't all hippie socialists who break windows and spraypaint McDonalds...that won't inspire people to join our side.

8. Yeah, damn those hippie socialists and their hippie socialist rioting...
:wtf: are you talking about? This (newage) hippie socialist is a peaceful protestor, as is every other "hippie socialist" I know.

Protesting is legal. Vandalism is not, and everyone I know follows those laws to the letter.

I really, really hope I'm just biting on someone's tongue-in-cheek comment rather than someone's genuine belief.

5. It Seems Festive And Calm Now... But What If It Got UGLY?
There appears to be more people than NYC could deal with effectively.

having their convention in NYC in the first place is so typical. :(
