Badge of Honor - I Finally Got a Post Attacked on One of the "Other" Sites

I've always been kind of disappointed I never get hate mail like some of my brethren on DU. So it does my heart good to see that one of my posts here made enough of an impression to warrant an attack.

Basically, I posted about an incident in which a large guy on a motorcycle drove up alongside my car and complimented me on my Kerry/Edwards stickers. Most of them climb aboard claiming it never happened and saying it was "bullshit."

This will disappoint them, I'm sure, but it really happened. Here in Jackson, Michigan which is pretty damn conservative.

Some idiot from Howell (about an hour's drive away) said this: "Jackson is an area full of minorities. Its an island of liberalism among a mainly conservative base." It's not entirely clear exactly what he's trying to say there, but if he's implying that the Jackson area is liberal, that's blatantly false (Jackson is Grand Rapids Junior & "Birthplace of the Republican Party").

But then he wouldn't know that since Howell is an area full of inbred rednecks with their heads shoved so far up their asses that the tops of their heads hit the back of their teeth.

No offense to anyone from Howell.
