3. NOFX and Greenday ar better than the Ramones.
Greenday is a Ramones wanna be. NOFX is a california skater band. The Ramones are punk rock. They are what all of them wanted to be.

and hold The Clash back for Best Rock Band Overall.

these kids today. Don't know about the Clash. Harummph.

What about Richard Hell and the Voidoids?

Okay, now we need an old-school punk poll.

5. For Me, the "Dead Kennedys"
Just because I was a hick from central Maine when I first saw them in late 1980, and this was the show that changed my life...I remember actually being scared, but totally rocking!!! "This song's for you, Alexander Haig" as Jello & folks tear into "Kill the Poor"...very enlightening!!!

I'm still a BIG fan of Jello Biafra...it's too bad the Dead Kennedy's themselves had such a sad ending...

6. Oh good lord....
I love all the bands on your list with the exception of Blink 182. But none of them even come close to being the best punk bands, by any measure of the definition of that term. All of them are great pop/rock bands with punk edges to them.

20. Hey, by my standards of punk they are supper poppy...
And trust me, after 20 plus years of being involved in punk music and the punk scene and seeing what I've seen with skinheads and fights and violence, particularly in the 80's, anti flag doesn't scare me. I've given tougher bands than them a hard time.

They are a good band, they just aren't particularly "punk" to me. They have some snazzy clothes and do their hair up real nice though.
