Its so sad and it reminds me of Shrek, but its so beautiful. Check it out if you get a chance. Its on her new (new to me) release, Hymns of the 49th Parallel.

1. I love the version that is on West Wing
I can't think of the singer right now. But it is excellent too.

9. That's funny. Back when I had a PVR I recorded that segment from the film
and played it for about two months.

4. That's probably right.
KD Lang's album is a re-make of a bunch of classics, including a couple of Neil Young classics. After the Gold Rush and Helpless.

10. Check out Bono's rendition
Better than K.D.'s, even, I think. And I like K.D.

11. K.D. Lang is one of the few performers that has never
....Swam with the crowd. She goes her own way in a truly respectable fashion. I had a chance to see her live and not only did she perform
flawlessly but (unlike a lot of Performers), she had the good sense to surround herself with Smokin' monster Musicians.
She's an original!
