I brought some beer back from Colorado.
It's called 1554 and is based on a Brussels black ale from that date. It's pretty good. That is all. :D I'll post some pictures from my trip into the Weminuche when I get them.

2. Have you had Fat Tire Ale? I think it's from CO. Good stuff.

3. Fat Tire even exists in my home state of MN

It's tasty enough--I don't know where it's brewed, exactly. I have a successful painter cousin who took me out to the Tundra in Ouray for dinner, and that's where I first tasted the 1554--I think it's brewed in Ft. Collins or thereabouts.

4. Ah, from Colorado's GOOD brewery!

As opposed to the right wing anti-union shithole in Golden with the godawful stench coming from it. (That would be Coors)

Their Belgian Trippel ale is lethal stuff too.

And yes, Fat Tire is from the same brewery, and it is in Ft. Collins

5. Name it not!
:puke:

It's interesting to think that ol' Coors virtually established one of the more odious 'conservative' thinktanks.

10. I thought Fat Tire was from CO - had it in Kansas City, MO last summer.
Wish they had another alternative to Yuengling here in Pittsburgh - would be a nice switch on occasion.

6. I don't do black brew
I tried some Guinness one time and just about lost my lunch. I bought a six pack and I still have five of them in the fridge.

8. This isn't a stout
I like Guinness myself, but this is much lighter. Still has the toasted malt taste though. :9 The first time I had a Guinness I thought it was crap too--but I acquired a taste for it eventually. My personal liquor lack of taste is that expensive single-malt Scotch doesn't do it for me. I gulped some Lagavulin at my bro's insistence and it didn't really do anything for me. (Not enough for the price tag, anyway.)

9. does anyone remember when coors could not be sold east of
the rockies and you had to smuggle it to the east. i think it was considered rebellous if you were able to have a coors in those days.
